Uprated plugs or stock?

Thinking about changing my plugs at weekend simply because its the only thing i think i've not done service wise, and i want to replace all the protective covers on dis pack wires as they are broken down due to the heat i presume, is it worth upgrading the plugs for iridium etc would the t5 benefit from this at all? cheers mick I would imagine the dis pack items would be expensive to replace and i think the wires could easily become damaged by the high temps i would recommend checking them on the s70's, seems to be quite a common problem

I think you will find it difficult to beat the Volvo standard plugs both for price and performance. Note the turbo and non turbo plugs are different so make sure you get the right ones.

the gap on the turbo is listed as .7mm i am currently running bog standard denso K22PRZU gapped to .6mm changed ever 10k..... cheers jod

Just done me plugs went for Bosch super plus ones @ 20 quid inc vat the set, looking at them they look exactly the same as the volvo ones identical electrode anyways. I replaced all the fiddly plastic wire protection aswell while i had the cover off :)
