Roof Rails

I am looking to fit a pair of roof rails to my 940 estate. Before I start drilling holes in my roof panel, Has anyone on this forum got any pointers/experience, on how to do this job? How difficult is it to do? Any help on this matter would be most appreciated. Thanks. Kev.

Here's how I fitted 940 roof rails to my . Don't know if there's any fittings in the Volvo roof to help or hinder. HTH

Have you got a sunroof? If you remove the roof lining you can see how it fits and I believe the fitting kits can be purchased still.
