What no warning alarm?

1998 V40. Does anyone know if there should be a warning alarm/buzzer if the drivers door is opened while the lights are on?

Nope,early V/S40's (phase 1) don't have them.Don't know if later models do or not. Gareth

my 2000 s40 doesnt either.. which is why i decided to leave my drl's on..
